The Medium has a completely matte, flat finish to it and the Universal is shimmery. The highlight side of the sticks are very different, however. I’ll go into greater detail on that in just a moment… You can easily use these photographs as a guide for your own face, just remember that everyone has different face shapes and features and your own contouring and highlighting will vary. Medium will be especially great for those occasions when I want a darker, more intense contour on my face whereas the Universal shade will work well for daily use. The Medium is good for skin tones that are light to medium with neutral, olive, or yellow undertones and the Universal shade will work with every single skin tone. I have Medium and Universal for you today. It is basically foolproof and even beginner’s can get the hang of highlighting and contouring with this product. This product gives a natural looking finish which is perfect for everyday wear. → Contour stick is too thick to contour the nose The only problem I have with this product is that the contour shade is quite thick making it a little difficult to contour the nose but a brush can be used so it’s not a big issue. The contour looks very natural and the highlighter brightens my face very well giving it a healthy glow. This product glides on so smooth and feels so buttery! It’s also very easy to blend, with fingers and brushes. I love how it’s sharp because it reaches some hard to get places and you can control how much product you want.
